On a sunny day around the outskirt of the city, Mr. A was going to scan for his daily bread as obtainable by all able-bodied men in order to cater for the family and other dependent, Mr. A saw a SIM CARD on the road while trekking to a nearby choice place and lo, Mr
A took the unknown SIM CARD and he inserted it in his other line.
As if trouble sat gently and somebody decided to wake it up, Mr. A received an unknown person on a day and he was stylishly trailed through the SIM CARD and conversation with the unknown source, Mr. A was arrested and convicted of being a wanted Armed Robber because the SIM CARD he took has been used and dumped by a notorious Armed Robber.
As at the time of writing this, Mr. A was still in Prison with no date for freedom yet.
Don't pick a SIM CARD on the floor, don't buy already used phone and don't pick a PHONE not belonging to you, don't be like MR. A.

REPORT OF UCIF's DAWAH VISITATION TO KIRIKIRI MAXIMUM PRISON ON THE 11TH FEBRUARY, 2018.
*In the name of Allah ; the Beneficient the Merciful.*
*Ummah Care for the inmates Foundation - مؤسسة الأمة لرعايةالسجناء.*
The arrival of guests and volunteers started at exactly 10:00am despite the downpour in and around Apapa, Lagos State which houses the KiriKiri Maximum Prison facility.
We gained entrance to the main prison facilities around 12:30 noon after conveyance of the cooked food, clothes, bread, daily needs and gift items donated by the Muslim Ummah.
After this, the Visitors from LSDPC Mosque came with Drugs and other healthcare items for the Inmates and they had short and beneficial talk with the Inmates in the KiriKiri Maximum Prison Central Mosque.
Following, Ustadh Salahudeen Ar-Riyady started the lecture session titled 'Trials and its disguised blessings' - he extensively did justice to the topic with both Yoruba and English language after an Hausa Lecturer came to interpret the whole lecture for those who don't understand either English language and Yoruba language.
After the detailed explanation of the meaning of trials and practical representations of various trials that can come as hardship or otherwise, he fervently dabbled into the exegesis of these Qur'an verses:
Do people think that they will be left alone because they say "We Believe" and they will not be tested? ~Quran 29:2
We shall certainly test you, until We ascertain those of you who (sincerely)strive and those who are steadfast (inAllah’s Deen); and We shall test your affairs (to distinguish the liars from the truthful) ~ Quran 47:31
And also, Shaykh clearly discussed the reason and reward for being patient upon trials, he stated that among the trials with which Allaah tests His slaves is in order to distinguishthe believers from the disbelievers is that which He mentions in the aayah (interpretation of the meaning):
“And certainly, We shall test you with something of fear, hunger, loss of wealth, lives and fruits, but give glad tidings to the patient).Who, when afflicted with calamity, say: ‘Truly, to Allaah we belong and truly, to Him we shall return.’They are those on whom are the Salawaat (i.e. who are blessed and will be forgiven) from their Lord, and (they are those who) receive His Mercy, and it is they who are the guided ones”[al-Baqarah 2:155-157]
So Allah tests His slaves, and He loves those who are patient, and gives them the glad tidings of Paradise.
Also, the lecturer stated that during the times of trials inmates should always think positively of Allah and rely fully on Him, in all the situations, for whatever comes from Allah is for good and He is The Protector of the pious and Oft-Forgiving and The Most Merciful. It is said, "Nothing happens except by the will of Allah."
Lastly, Shaykh Ar-Riyady admonished the inmates to remain patients as instructed by Allah in the Qur'an: During trials or affliction Allah advisesHis slaves, "... and be patient over what befalls you." ~ Quran 31:17
It was followed with the performance of Zuhr Prayer after which Question and Answer/Interactive Session continued after Salat, this session lasted from 1:40PM till around 3:00PM - the Inmates asked beneficial question bordering on Tawheed, Fiqh, Seerah, Hadith etc and all their questions were evidence-based answered by the lecturer.
Brother Qamar from MSSMI advised that the Inmates should take in practice all what was taught to them by Shaykh Ar-Riyady and other lecturers and start living in commanding goodness and forbidden sins always.
Abu Soffiyah (KiriKiri Maximum Prison Medical officer) gave a contributory remark and admonished the Inmates never to despair of Allah's mercy always - "Or do you think that you shall enter Paradise without such (trials) as came to those who passed away before you? They were afflicted with suffering and adversity, and were so shaken in spirit that even the Messenger and those who believed along with him said, "When will the help of Allah come?" ~ Quran 2:214
During the course of the lecture, Brother Habeeb Ademola Kamaldeen and Abu Ubayy Sherifdeen led the sisters to KiriKiri Female Prison Wing.
During the lecture by Sheikh Solahudeen, the duo of Brother Kamal and Abu Ubayy Sherifdeen led the female delegation to the female prison for the Female Wing Dawah Visitation, they entered the female prison at about 1.20pm after the conveyance the items brought along.
Ustadh Ya'qub of Bond FM welcomed us, and admonished the female Inmates with the hadeeth: "Life is a prison for the believer, while it is paradise for the Unbelievers".
The inmates were told not to feel inferior, they may be better than those outside the prison world, they sinned and they've repented, they're better than those who have not repented.
A sister from the delegation admonished the inmates on Tawheed, they were told not to despair in the mercy of Allaah, no matter their situation , they shouldn't leave Islam no matter the level of the trial.
Lastly, Brother Musa Amanozi Habeeblah gave the vote of Thanks and the visitation ended around 3:16PM.
May Almighty Allah reward us all with goodness. Aameen.
Our next prison visitation will be announced soon.

REPORT ON THE VISITATION TO AGODI PRISON, IBADAN, OYO STATE HELD ON 13/01/2018
Ummah Care for the inmates Foundation - مؤسسة الأمة لرعايةالسجناء.
In the name of Allah ; the Beneficient the Merciful.
We thank Allah for the successful visitation to Agodi Prison Yard, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Commencement: 10:45a.m.
Items given to the Inmates include: Slippers, Kulikuli, Sugar, Soaps (detergents
and bath soaps), Milks, Clothes, Garri (1bag).
All Praise and Adoration due to Almighty Allah the Lord of Universe and we bestow His blessings upon our Noble Prophet Muhammed (صلي الله عليه), his house hold, companion and generality of Muslim till THE DAY. Ameen.
After our entrance to the prison yard, we were directed to the prison mosque by one of the prison staff. The lecture was delivered by one of the Muslim Lawyers (MULAN official).
Afterwards, the topic of the lecture was 'RELIANCE ON GOD IN ANY CONDITION YOU FOUND YOURSELF AND TO BE PRAYERFUL.' -
the lecturer brought a lot of evidences from Qur'an and Hadith to illuminate the lecture, he said all the inmates should repent in this place as Almighty Allah is ready to accept their repentance.
Immediately after the lecture for inmate, we met the Imam to ask affairs of Muslims inmates from him and he said some of Muslims have gone to the church as result of daily needs i.e toothpaste , slippers and others that Muslim Inmates lacked, he said the aid they get are mostly from MSSN Ibadan, University of Ibadan because they have opportunity to come every day. So he urged us to come every time in order to assist the Muslim inmates.
Suggestions on the Inmates Release and Upkeep:
1. Their Lawyers should be contacted in order to know the
charge against them, the bail can be perfected after that, settlement
can be made then dismissal.
2. Contact should be made to the family to confirm if the
documents has truly gotten to the agencies involved i.e EFCC for verification and render
possible help(If any).
OBSERVATION(S)
Alhamdullilah, we have only 3 females as at this visitation at
Agodi Prison Ibadan. Others have been released/bailed
They yearned for the need of teacher(s) to teach them Arabic in
order to be able to recite the Quran
.
Also, frequent visitations to the Muslims as Christians does that
more often
Insha Allah, further report on the male side shall be updated by the males
present during the visitation.
May Almighty Allah accept it from us all as an act of ibadah
Jazakhallahu Khairan

FULL REPORT OF AL AL-AWN FOUNDATION & UMMAH CARE FOR THE INMATES FOUNDATION's VISITATION TO OGBOMOSO PRISON* - Published Date: 13/9/2017.
Save our LIFE!
All praises to Allaah..
We got to the prison yard at 3:30, we were not allowed to meet the Christians. Unlike before, so Muslims to meet Muslim inmates and same for christains too..
We discussed about shirk and kufr and importance of tawakkul(self reliance) on Allaah alone
They were happy, and they told us they will be needing caps and they complained of Muslims not visiting them which has made some people to left Islam. May Allaah save us from such. Aameen.
Unfortunately four inmates are affected with scabbies (ringworms) which has taken all over their whole body including private parts..
This has made two of the affected inmates to start attending church so that the Christians can assist them but two remained firm by not going to church.
We met the four of them to tell them we shall take care of their health in shaa Allaah
We tried to do a little dawah for the two attending church but our time was up.
N.B: Below are pictures of one of the inmates with scabbies.
Importantly, A Muslim warder urged us to hurry up to assist our brothers so that those Christians won't cart them away bi idhnillaah
Which implies they need money for medications and the likes. And we promised to respond as soon as possible in less than 7 days In Shaa Allaah.

FULL REPORT OF UCIF's Dawah/Welfare Visitation to Oke Kura Prison Yard, Ilorin, kwara State on the 29th October, 2017
UMMAH CARE FOR THE INMATES FOUNDATION - مؤسسة الأمة لرعايةالسجناء.
In the Name of the Lord of the Great Throne, the All Merciful and the All Caring!
We left our meeting point, Ilorin Central Mosque, Oja Oba, ilorin at around 3:30 pm, and we got to the Prison gate at around 3:55pm. We submitted ourselves and the items we took to the Inmates for proper security checks. After gaining entrance into the premises, we headed straight to the Prison's Masjid, where we performed Solatul Asr together with our Inmates brothers.
Immediately, after the solaah, Bar. Ibn Abdullah As-sudaisiy introduced the group and the Lecturer of the day to the congregation, Ustadh Sirnucy Lafiaji. Ustadh Sirnucy Lafiagi discussed the topic: Having Hope and Trust in Allah and it was scintillating and inspiring. It was translated into Hausa Language by one of the Inmates. Some questions were entertained from the Inmates and the Officers of the Nigerian Prisons, and Ustadh Sirnucy did justice to them with references from Qur'an and Sunnah.
After the lecture and questions and answers, the Welfare Officer of the Prison did a vote of thanks and requested that the UCIF group be visiting them monthly for lectures, especially on tawhid. We therefore suggest that we should be going there to read Kitaab Taoheed on monthly basis and also to teach the female Inmates how to recite the Qur'an.
During the visit, the Prison Welfare Officer led the sisters to the female section of the Prison. One of the sisters gave lecture on the topic: Importance of Faith in the Life of a Muslim. The sister advised the female Inmates on how to live a religious life despite their conditions by praying regularly, doing of tahajud, dhikr, istighfaar, tawbah, reading of the Quran and so on. It was discovered none of the female Inmates could recite the Qur'an. In sha Allah, we hope to make efforts to see how we can help them to learn the Qur'an.
